REIAMA Programmes Coordinator, Charles Dakalira, was in Zambia participating in a series of activities aimed at strengthening collaboration within the renewable energy sector. On 4th October 2025, he was joined by our Board Member, Gopal Sudelaimuthu, during the Product and Services Workshop hosted by the Solar Industry Association of Zambia.
The workshop forms part of the ongoing partnership project between the Renewable Energy Industries Association of Malawi and the Solar Industry Association of Zambia. The initiative is being implemented with technical support from the German Solar Association and funding from sequa gGmbH, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening renewable energy industry associations in the region.
During the workshop, participants explored potential products and services that the associations can offer to their members. These discussions aim to enhance the value that both associations deliver to their membership while strengthening collaboration across the renewable energy ecosystem.
The conversations also build on the findings from the membership surveys conducted in October 2025. Insights from these surveys are helping guide the development of services that respond directly to the needs of members, while supporting the continued growth of the renewable energy sector in Malawi, Zambia, and the wider region.
