REIAMA supported women, girls, and youth participation in a Renewable Energy short course on planning, design, installation, operation, and management of renewable energy systems held from 17 February to 14 March 2025 at the Mzuzu University ODL Campus in Lilongwe.
Implemented by Mzuzu University’s Test and Training Centre for Energy Systems under the Global Renewables Centre Project, the program equipped 20 participants with hands-on technical skills in solar PV system installation, maintenance, and energy system management.
The training enhanced employment opportunities, strengthened compliance with national energy standards, and empowered participants to serve as renewable energy ambassadors supporting Malawi’s rural electrification and clean energy adoption.
